    Hi

    Is there a way to only display the listings for the category im viewing on the top slider?, ie . if I’m looking at the accommodation category, only listings for that category or child category will display on the slider. ?

    I guess you are talking about the GD Listing Slider widget.
    No, that is not possible.
    That widget should automatically filter the listings to the Custom Post Type and categories you have set in the widget, and then filter those listings by the location, but not by category.
