Supreme Directory home displays hidden categories

    Hiding categories in GD>Design>Map does not hide

    Hi Brett,

    Those settings are meant for hiding categories in the map widget. Could you tell us a little bit more about what you’re trying to achieve?

    I can not launch the site as I am waiting on the team to ensure the categories of a post type are the ones displayed on entry.

    So in the meanwhile I thought I would hide the other two Post types (Boat Charters and Training Providers) thus only have Dives (Main post type). This would then mean on entry to the site it would show Dives and its categories.

    If this can nto be revsolved in the next week or so I will have to build my own custom home page, which I can do but would rather use the framework to do it as it is nearly there.

    Attached is what I want when people visit the home page, this is currently achieved by clicking on the post type select, choose Boat Charters, then click it again and choose Dives.

    You can temporary hide those CPT using the custom CSS below. 

    

    option[value="gd_directory"], 
option[value="gd_trainingproviders"]{
    display:none;
}

    you’ll have to wait for the final release. The workaround yo uare thinking about will not work.
