user reviews for Mall->stores->products

    Hello,

    In my portal I want to manage places like malls, inside malls have stores and for each store have products.

    For all three categories been able to have descriptions and reviews, how can I manage this? I need to associate several stores to one mall, and several products to one store and have user reviews and ratings for malls,stores and products.

    Hi, I guess this will involve a custom work, as GD doesn’t allows to do that.
    Pratically, you want to have listings inside a listing, correct?

    Not sure if is listing inside listing, I’m new with geodirectory… I need to been able to write reviews at mall level, store level and product level.

    Not sure if there could be a workaround like create a new type of places called malls, another called stores and another called products, and then somehow link one store to a mall, and link the products to a store…

    Is this possible?

    Currently not, at the moment you can only link places with events.

    In next version, it will be possilbe to link Events with any CPT and no longer only places.

    BUt linking CPT with other CPT was never requested.

    If you want I can move this in the Job section of the forum so that you can have it custom built for you right away (not a simple thing at all). Or, you could submit it as a request here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/requests/

    If many other users vote for it, we will definitely consider it.

    When did you think that the new version will implement it?

    It will be great to find a developer that do this for us. Can you move this to the jobs forum? or how can I do it?

    If is not very expensive I can pay for part of the develpment in order to have this as soon as possible and you include it in the next version, is that possible?

    Hi,

    I’m creating an portal to have several levels or post and reviews in the following estructure:

    Malls->Stores->Products

    We need to been able to create a post (and user reviews) at mall level, so users can rate their general experience for malls, but we also need to create posts (and user reviews) at store level, and also at product level (and probably at even deeper level).

    For example:

    Mall 1:
    mall description
    user ratings for the mall
    other fields.

    The mall 1 have 10 stores:
    Store 1: Mcdonalds
    Store 1 description….
    Store 1 user reviews
    The store 1 have 5 products
    product 1: cheese burger
    product 1 description…
    Product 1 user reviews…
    Product 2: bigmac
    Product 2 description…
    Product 2 user reviews…
    we may need to have another subcategory and deeper levels to keep organizing information.
    Store 2: american cheesecake
    Store 2: description…
    Store 2: user reviews…
    Product 1 (of the store 2): cake
    Product 1 description…
    Product 1 user reviews…
    Product 2 (of store 2): banana cheese cake
    Product 2 description…
    Product 2 user reviews…

    Mall 2:
    Store 1 of mall 2:
    Product 1 of store 1
    subproduct 1 of product 1
    sub subproduct
    Store 2 of mall 2
    product 1
    subproduct1
    subsubproduct1
    subsubproduct1

    etc, and at each subcategory level been able to manage a post. The goal is that users will be able to post malls, stores inside malls, products inside stores, subproducts inside products at indefinite levels.

    Anyone interested in develop this?
