After install: demo data import & picture upload does not work

    Hi!

    After installing geodir 1.2.7 within enfold (comp. pack installed), demo data import ist not possible. The progress bar does not stop.

    When manually adding locations, the picture upload does not work.
    (Even manage pictures in subfolders is activeted…)

    And: After installing your base-plugin “GeoDirectory” the plugin “Duplicator” stops with an internal server error.

    After deactivating GeoDirectory, Duplicator works fine again.

    What may be the problem?

    Do you need my login-paramters?

    Hi,

    there is a problem with ajax calls. they fail with a 500 serer error. (see image attached)

    1st thing I’d try to diable all non GD plugins 1 by 1 to see if one of them is the culprit.

    Duplicator probably doesn’t work because of GD database structure. Currently we don’t prefix the GD tables with wp_ (reason why we are still not multisite compatible). We will soon (we are working on it) and that should solve it.

    There are other similar plugins that you can use now, that will clone the entire database without caring about default wp prefix and will replace all URL in it to move it to another domain without losing anything.

    Let us know if disabling plugins solves the 1st issue.

    Hello, tested your website and your plugins individually. As Paolo wrote, Duplicator is the culprit of the conflict with GD and the issues with the AJAX call. Id suggest to use BACKWPUP, a good plugin and replacement for Duplicator.

    Now it works and I can keep on setting up the directory on this page.
