Popular Post View Featured

I am in the long process of switching over from geotheme.
I am using the supreme Directory.

I would like to display only my featured listings on my front page.
On the Popular Post View widget, when I switch sorting to “sort by” Featured
or check the “show only featured listings” checkbox it will only display 1 or 2 featured listings. It will also cause my map to go into a continual searching blank stare.
Depending on my front page structure it will also mess with the format and cause other widgets not to show.
If I click the tap “show all” it will take me to the next page and show all the featured listings but i would like them to display on the front page.

I have done everything I can think of (killing all plugins, checking this, clicking that) I have checked documentation and forums and I can’t seem to find anything regarding this issue.

I currently have it set to sort by Random as my site is live.
