I have added the Location Switcher short code in the sidebar BUT ones select the country or city is redirect to an empty page /location/ [geodir_location_tab_switcher autoredirect=”1″]
I have tried as well to change the permalink in the geodirectory settings but does not work.
Next I will send all credential, thanks

wp admin credentials are wrong.
ERROR: Invalid username. Lost your password?
It seems as though your GD Home widgets areas are empty…
Can you check both things?
Thx

November 13, 2014 at 4:17 pm #21422Hi,
/places/ and /location/ are 2 different pages.
1 is a custom post type index, while the other is GD Home Page and it can be filtered by location.
The location switcher redirects to /location/ page.
If you don’t add widgets in GD Home widgets areas, what you are experiencing is normal behaviour.
Thx
November 14, 2014 at 9:40 am #21494I Have completely removed the custom template and add the switcher to the GD – Listing side bar as you suggested ( http://www.yogahealthbeauty.com/places/ ) but as soon as i select a city from a switcher I end up in empty page and when i select back ” every where ” in the switcher drop down the page is not load all listing but just the one belong from the country/city previously selected.

November 14, 2014 at 9:59 am #21495You had set both places and lovation permalinks as “places”.
November 14, 2014 at 1:05 pm #21509I have tried to do with location and changes to different permailink but have same issue, when changes to location a blank page come up.
November 14, 2014 at 7:28 pm #21561Hi,
as I told you on November 12, 2014 at 9:27 pm, wp admin credentials are wrong.
If we can’t check your website’s settings, we can’t really help you and we both waste precious time.
In any case, your location page http://www.yogahealthbeauty.com/location/ is blank.
Either you don’t have the location virtual page in place (I doubt, because it would return a 404 page), or you don’t have widgets in place in the home top section, content section and right section widgets areas.
If the widgets areas are blank, location pages will be blank too.
You are still confusing the Places page (which is an archive of the custom post type place) and the Location page which is the directory home page.
In fact you are using the places page as a link in your navigation as the main directory link (when it should really be /location/)
If with the location switcher you move to a different location, you set a session and if you go back to this page: http://www.yogahealthbeauty.com/places/
it will show you places only for the location for which a session has been saved. To save back to everywhere, you need to use the location switcher again. In fact if you look at it, you will notice that the location switcher will now display the name of the city previously selected.
Hope it’s clearer now.
Thx
November 14, 2014 at 11:56 pm #21594Have you removed all custom templates? Are your location pages using the GD template?
November 15, 2014 at 6:45 am #21601Hi Paolo and Guust
Thanks for your replay. I have now completely removed all the geodirectory folder under the theme so no custom template are loading and the system is now works fine ( http://www.yogahealthbeauty.com/places/ )
But, as you can see, the page is now rendering in full width and is not getting the boostrap twitter style, this was the main reason why I have edited the geodirectory templates and added to my theme folder to be able to add the <div style belong to twitter boostrap. Second reason because client want a specific sidebar.
Obviously I am missing something or do something wrong since the plugin is not getting the default style. Could u pls tell me what i am doing wrong?Paolo I am fine with the log in details I have provided, however I have created a completely new user, details next.
Thanks for ur support guys.

November 15, 2014 at 6:46 am #21602This reply has been marked as private.November 15, 2014 at 10:35 am #21606Would you not just edit the header of your theme, and add the twitter div there? But templates is not my expertise, so maybe Paolo has more to add.
November 15, 2014 at 11:42 am #21607I have created a custom theme using the twitter boostrap twitter code and yes , in header and all other wordpress main pages there is a custom code, what I am not getting is why the plugin is not getting the standard style BUT is getting the full width. That was the reason why I have copy over the geodirectory theme location and start to add the <div twitter bootrap code there since was the only way to get the custom style to the geodirectory pages.

November 15, 2014 at 8:29 pm #21626You have no css for the geodir_wrapper.
Just add this to your custom css:
#geodir-wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
max-width: 1170px;
}Thx
