I am working on http://www.VisitShelby.com and I do not want to show ratings on the home page unless it’s via a ratings widget (e.g. recent reviews or if you had a widget called highest rated).
It’s overwhelming seeing the ratings so frequent. So, more specifically, in list view I don’t want to see ratings, review, or favorite. I would prefer to use that leftover real-estate for making the description wider in “List View”.
In “Grid View” I don’t want to see this information either. Just title and read more is all i need.
If it’s a featured widget section or “latest places” section that’s all it needs to be about. So, is there a way to simply the front end of this rating display usage? It may already be there, I’ve looked, but I’m still new to this.
Or do I have to create a child theme for this. I’ve been putting that off as long as possible until I understand the overall way this GeoDirectory works. I’m still stuck in the backend/admin of this thing. So far I’m loving it though!
