Option to Link Business to Custom Post – Warning Message

Under Geodirectory > custom post types > gd_event > Advanced mode tab and scroll to the bottom.

It looks like there is an option to link business and linkable to performer (Custom Post Type), however there is a warning about your existing links will be lost.

Two questions:

1. Is it possible with this option to link a business and customer post (Performer in this case)?

2. What does the warning mean?

You can link any of two posts together (for example Businesses to Performers), but you can only link to one other. So if you would change it after you linked them, you will un-link all the listings that you had linked earlier because you will be linking them with another CPT.
