search showing all listings, not just specific location

On my site dentistnearmereviews.com I have dentists categorized by location and specialty, but if I search Illinois > general dentist, every listing pops up below the nearest dentist. Here is a link for example:http://www.dentistnearmereviews.com/dentist/united-states/illinois-1/general-dentist/

How can we limit this so it just shows Illinois, or the specific region?

Also, the sort by drop down only shows up here on an “archive” page, not on the regular search listings page.

Do I have something not set up right with regards to search?

Do I need the categories as a drop down before my search near field?

Hi,

your current permalink structure doesn’t include the country (united-states), that is confusing the system and I’m not sure where you got that link from.

The correct link for that category in Illinois on your website is: http://www.dentistnearmereviews.com/dentist/illinois-1/general-dentist/

If you want you can include the country back too, but you need to do that from GD >> MultiLocations and disable: Hide country part of url for LISTING, CPT and LOCATION pages?

I explained why the sort drop down appears in archive pages and not search result pages in another topic of yours.
