Post type search and Custom Post types

    What should I do if I dont want to choose “Default post type search on map” for all Custom Post types: only Places or only Events, etc. I want to change “Post type search on map” while clicking on another “Custom Post types”. Places -> Places categories on map, Events – > events categories on map.

    You got to have one default one, or the map does not know what to load when you call the page.
    All your CPT will display in the bottom ribbon of the home/location map, so you switch CPTs by clicking on either Places or Events etc. But you have to have one for starters.
    I hope I understood you correctly.

    I created the category on site menu “Kennel” http://allpets1.com/pitomniki and I want to default on the map there were kennel categories, I also created a category on site menu “Veterinary clinic” http://allpets1.com/vetclinics/ and I want to default on the map in “Veterinary clinic” were veterinary clinics categories, but not kennels.

    You have to use the GMAP – LISTING PAGE widget on the LISTING page.
    You have added the GMAP – HOME PAGE widget to the LISTING page.
    That widget is only for the HOME page.

    Ok. When I added GMAP – LISTING PAGE I saw only 10 places on map (one page), how I can add all places on map?

    The listings map shows the location of all the listings on the page, so if you have set the amount of posts to ten, then there will be ten listings on the map.
    To increase the number of listings on the map, increase the number of posts on the page, at WP > settings > reading.

    Yeah, sure:

    GD > design > Home > Geodirectory home page > YES
    GD > design > Map > Default post type search on map > Places

    Sorry, a bit wrong, I mean that mysite.com/places view like GMAP – HOME PAGE with Default post type – Place.

    And category Events mysite.com/events view like GMAP – LISTING PAGE

    Is it possible do one category like home page?

    Not sure I understand.

    /places or /vetclinics or /events etc are LISTINGS pages, they show listings in a CPT and category. You need a LISTING map for these for the map to work.

    /location are pages for locations like cities or regions, and show the listings in that location. You need the HOME map for the location pages to work.

    Have a look at the demo, http://wpgeo.directory
    That is how it works.

    Sorry if I do not understand you correct.

    This is almost what I need… How (mysite.com) was apart from location mysite.com/location (Home page GD)? Now it show same information. How can I separate them? mysite.com – its articles, mysite.com/location – its places and other.

    Ta have a different page at mysite.com than the start page for the GD directory at mysite.com/location, do this

    GD > design > Home > Geodirectory home page > NO
    WP > settings > reading > Front page displays > Select the page you want as the homepage of your site.
