Event Add on installed with Avada theme and Tribe's Event Calendar plugin

Sorry if this has already been answered before, but I have just installed geo directory on my site which is running Avada 4.0.3, wordpress version 4.5.3. The theme had me install Tribe events “The Event Calendar” plugin and it was already running on the site. I added the Geo event plugin but it redirects to the homepage every time and wont allow me to create a new listing on the front end. Is there a way to reset this or is there an easy fix?
