    Hi

    I had some help yesterday from Simone, here; https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/listings-not-displaying-again/#post-24948

    But the problem has come back. Strangely the dog friendly attractions show, but not the other sections.

    I’m at a loss as to what to do or whats causing this. Would anyone be able to take a look please?

    Thanks again

    Thanks Stiofan, all appears to be working now, phew! 🙂

    How can I avoid this in future? My host updates plugins automatically, should I not be updating the core plugin anymore?

    Well if you are just updating the core in the future you should have no problems, if you have to reinstall old addons for some reason then this is what i did.

    In main plugin file changed this:

    $plugin_prefix = 'geodir_';

    to this:

    global $wpdb;
    if(!isset($plugin_prefix))
    	$plugin_prefix = $wpdb->prefix.'geodir_';

    Then in the database table if you have any tables starting geodir_ you should rename them to wp_geodir_ or replace wp_ with your site DB prefix like the rest of the normal WP tables.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

    Ooer.. that sounds a bit complicated :/

    Thanks for telling me though.. let’s hope I never have to work that out! I don’t know anything about databases! 🙁
