    Hi there

When trying to Network activate GeoDirectory plugin I’m getting this message:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare addCat_column() (previously declared in /home/hangout/public_html/wp-content/themes/GeoTheme/library/cat-meta/cat_meta.php:124) in /home/hangout/public_html/wp-content/plugins/geodirectory/geodirectory-functions/cat-meta-functions/cat_meta.php on line 191

    Running WordPress 4.6 multi-site
    GeoTheme 3.7.1

I am pretty sure the GD plugin will not work with Geotheme, but I’ll ask the others too.
Also GD should not be network activated but should be activated on a site per site basis.

I can confirm that GeoDirectory will not work with GeoTheme, it must be installed on a theme that doesn’t already include Directory functions and it also can’t be network activated. It must be activated for each individual website in the network where it is needed.

    Thanks

    Thanks Guust

I’ve got the plugin to activate on one of the domains and run the GT2GD conversion and that worked fine.

Not gone any further as I appear to now need a whole load of other tools to complete the site as I would like it.

Another question though. Is there a csv template for importing places?

    Thanks for your help.

    Regards
    Tim

    Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/

You will find a sample file at GD > import & export > GD Listings:Import CSV > Download sample file.

If you have any listings already in the system, you can also download the existing listings CSV at GD > import & export > GD Listings:Export CSV
That is recommended if you already have added custom fields, price packages etc.
