Events Order is Posting Date Order Not Event Date Order

Hi,
When I post events, the sort order ascending is “post date” order, not the order of the events themselves.
I read in an earlier post that this was going to be fixed a couple of months ago.

Is this still a bug or is there something I can do to sort the events in the date order of the event itself.

You can see that they are in a random date order even though I have selected sort by ascending date. If an event is added for say tomorrow, it will appear at the end of the listing rather than in date order.
I have just updated all the plugins.
