Cannot deactivate licence and events pages not working

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    My events add on expired and stopped working with the latest core update, so I bought a new membership and am attempting to deactivate the old licence key to enable the new one, getting the message saying it was not deactivated and to seek support.

    I ended up uploading the new download through ftp to bypass the autoupdate but now none of the events pages are working, add event redirects to home page and listings are appearing but the detail pages are not being found.
