October 17, 2016 at 6:18 pm #286064Hi GD Superstars, I’m trying to export csv of GD Organizations and GD locations, but it just spins and “prepares” for ever… At first, I thought it was my internet or laptop, but used a friend’s computer to no avail. It might be the code problem as we did a duplicate of our first site. Could you please let me know what I can do? The URL is http://norcalresilience.org/ Thank you for your support. -Crystal October 17, 2016 at 9:37 pm #286179Hi Crystal, to be able to check, we’ll also need admin credentials. Let us know, Thank you, October 17, 2016 at 9:42 pm #286181This reply has been marked as private.October 18, 2016 at 9:08 am #286448Hi crystal,
One of plugin messing the ajax json response by adding javascript code in all ajax requests. The export functionally working fine but due to mess up of ajax json response it can’t show the message that displayed after export process done.
Try to disable non GD plugin one by one to find out which plugin causing this problem.Your site is running under old GD + GD Plugins, update it. Will let you know how this goes.
Regarding updates, because we did a lot of customization on this plugin, we are not able to update it. Please correct me if my engineer is wrong..October 18, 2016 at 4:58 pm #287169Help! T.T I deactivated every single plugin but Geodirectory and still no progress. It might be the customized Geodirectory plugin itself.. Is there anyway I can extract the data from the back end? Here is the situation I’m in right now: We built the dynamic website (with GD and BP) on norcalresilience.org then later decided we need to migrate all the dynamic website to a new site (thexpollinators.com), which is basically the clone of norcalresilience.org on backend. I later learned that our engineer did the clone improperly and put it on the same WP site. Long story short, I technically don’t need GD to be working on norcalresilience.org because I will be changing all the current links to directing to thexpollinators.com. With all that, do you think it would be OK for me to update the GD plugins to see if we can fix this issue? The future of the norcalresilience.org is just a static website with text content. October 18, 2016 at 5:01 pm #287172I don’t see why not… remember that you should never customize core plugin files. Let us know how you went. As you can imagine, after working with my engineer for 5 months, I had to fire her and deal with this myself. I really just want to get what I personally entered in GD out before her work burn the whole thing down.. October 18, 2016 at 5:15 pm #287179Hi again, please update the plugin via FTP or using a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades/ Thanks October 18, 2016 at 6:04 pm #287192Hi Paolo – I updated the GD plugin via FTP and deactivate all other plugins. Still can’t export. What else can I do? October 18, 2016 at 6:17 pm #287206Try to activate a default theme. Probably the customization are inside your theme and were not in the plugin. Let us know, Thanks October 18, 2016 at 6:19 pm #287208BINGO! You rock Thank you so much for your support. October 18, 2016 at 6:21 pm #287210You are welcome 🙂
