home page has to be the directory?

    I wish I’d known this before starting to use this system. I don’t really want the homepage to have to be the directory. Is there some way to make it work without it being the homepage? And if it has to be the homepage, I’d like to be able to template the area around the directory portion. Can you tell me how to setup the template so it will override the default directory template?

    and now, even changing the front page to the directory page doesn’t make the directory work again. This is set in the Settings > Reading area, and GeoDirectory > Permalinks section. Is there some other place this needs to be set for the directory to work? (it was working before I made the homepage a different page while we were still populating the directory. Now we’ve got several Places entered, but I can’t get it to work even with those settings changed back to what they were)

    all you have to do is select that page in GD >> Permalinks as the Location page.

    Um I did that already, as mentioned in my post, even changing it that way the map is broken.
