notifications for reviews

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    How do notifications work when a new place is posted? Does it notify the admin. I have it set to default to draft. Also for if someone wants to review a place they must be logged in yes? And who gets notified of that, the post owner only?

    Hi,

    You have options in GeoDirectory >> Notifications for submission of new listings.

    Reviews are comments, you can allow only registered users to post reviews or allow them to post review by just leaving name and email.

    The admin is always notified of new reviews and so is the post author.

    Can those reviews be adjusted so they are held for moderation at all?

    Yes, it’s a default WP setting. The option is in settings > discussion > Before a comment appears = Comment must be manually approved
