    Hi,
in my home page I have the widget “GMap Home Page”.
    Till yesterday it runed well.
Yesterday I trie to add a widget above my menú. For to do that, I added a code in funciotion php

From this moment GMap Home page is showed without places.
    However for example in
    http://www.infocity.website/lugaresdeinteres
    there are places.
Of course I have deleted the code from the function php
I have resaved the map in the widget.
I have delete and re add the GDMap
    I have re saved permalinks…
But the error is not resolved

    Do you understand what happen?
When you wil resolve this error, can you explain what you have done? Maybe I will try to add one time more the widget above the menu, so if you explain me how resolve the problem I will not molest you again.
    Thanks for your support.

It works for me… See image attached.

Probably you just need to clear your browser cache.

    Thanks

    Hi,

    yes i didn’t understand that, I’m sorry.

    The problem is this:

SyntaxError: JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data
    http://infocity.website/wp-includes/js/jquery/jquery.js?ver=1.12.4
    Line 4

I asked to the developers to check.

    Thanks

The problem was you had a hidden character in your child theme functions.php file at the very start, this is invisible in most cases unless you have specific settings in your editor, In future you can test by copy/pasting your page into this site: http://jsonlint.com/

I simply removed the red dot and re-saved and it worked.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
