Hi,
I have a domain name I’ve been trying to figure out what software to use to build the site with and have a few questions…

GD can be used for almost any geo idea.. That example site does not work for me.
Apps are in the pipeline…
Thanks,
Stiofan

yes go to GeoDirectory >> Place settings, add a new text (numeric) custom field from the left to the right column, double click on it to add all settings, make it mandatory and with drag and drop position it anywhere in the form.
Let us know how it goes,
Thanks

that appears to be a custom GeoTheme link added directly from Appearance >> Menu, not a GD thing.
Please see this doc to learn how to add GD links to your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
Thanks
November 29, 2016 at 10:48 pm #314860Hi Paolo,
Perhaps I did not do a good job explaining the issue.
Set the Menu links aside for minute because those can be added or taken away very easily.
Now, how am I or anyone else supposed to add a new listing if there is not Add Listing link OR when you do click on the Add Listing link, it takes you to a page that has nothing to do with adding a listing?
Please explain where the Add Listing link is on this install?
Thank you,
RobertNovember 29, 2016 at 10:51 pm #314862You explained it perfectly. and my previous reply already answered that.
Please see this doc to learn how to add GD links to your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
If you vist that page and read that docs it will explain how to enable the add listings page and add the add listings link to your menu.
Thanks
November 29, 2016 at 11:15 pm #314933These pictures look great but this does not tell me where to go to enable this option. Please be more specific.
Thank you,
RobertNovember 30, 2016 at 1:28 am #314992Paolo,
Please take a look at this video which shows the issues we are having with the link and instructions you provided. https://youtu.be/yiydxYL_j6c
Thank you,
RobertNovember 30, 2016 at 9:59 am #315367Hi Robert, can you scroll to the top of the page Paolo linked to, that might help you understand the context of the link: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design
The page explains all the options at GD > Design
There is documentation for each section in GD, for example:
GD > Import + Export: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-export/
GD > Permalinks: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-permalinks/
etc -
