How to mass import businesses

    Is there an easy way to add all the businesses in the usa? millions of them? like all of google maps has? I know there are business databases, but they are not formatted for WPG.

    Any data you have will need to be manipulated to meet the GD requirements.

    To answer to your question about scraping from Google Maps or similar, that is not permitted at all.

    They would blacklist you before you finish scraping the 1st few thousands of business and if you trick that through proxies, as soon as they find your website and they will, you’ll find their lawyers at your doorstep.

    Databases should be built, not copied. Even buying databases is not a good practice, as you get duplicate content that a lot of other people may have bought and they could be using it in thousands of other websites.

    Google ignores duplicate content.
