    Hello,

Can you tell me how to change/edit the text on the error 404 page?

I can’t find the page/post in the directory theme.

    Thanks

You can change that in the theme language file usually, but might depend on your theme.

    Thanks

I don’t need to translate. I would like to edit the actual 404 page. Just change the wording thanks.

You can use the language file to change the wording.
But otherwise, find the 404 template in your theme, move it to your child theme and edit it there.
Every theme should have a 404.php file.
