adding to new homepage

    Hi,

    I have just set up geo directory with genesis Magazine Pro…the theme useage is not important it was just the closest I wanted to use. And maybe I should just buy one of your genesis themes..

    BUt I am wondering how I remove the sidebar, as it seems to be sitting underneath the map.

    It seems you have no widgets added to any sections except the sidebar.

    Best idea is to add widgets to the different sections so you can see what happens.
    And make sure you follow all the steps here first too: http://docs.wpgeodirectory.com/basic-installation/

    No I haven’t there is still a sidebar right next to the map, I want the map full width.

    Whatever I do to widgets that sidebar never moves… 🙂

    Hi,

    you need to go to GD >> Design >> Home and disable the right sidebar, than increase the content area width to 100%.

    Paolo is right of course. I thought you wanted to move the sidebar from underneath the content.
    We have fixed your home/location page.
    For the other pages, follow the same procedures.
    You cannot remove the sidebar from the detail page, it needs to be there so users can upgrade or edit listings etc.
