    Hi,

I have few questions that I did not find answers in search here or answers were not clear.

    1. Guust responded to one user that “you should be able to use GD as a classifieds directory, depending on they type of classifieds you are thinking off.
With the custom post addon, you can create different types of listings within the same directory, so some could be classifieds, and others could be businesses.
All listings need to have a location/address, so if that works for you, well, then it works for you”. But this contradicts what CPT add-on description states: “Each CPT has its own form builder, so you can add in any custom fields, prices, custom categories and tags that you need. You can even create listings without a physical location and build a directory of websites or online services.” So which one is true?

    2. If I add Cars section to Classifieds, then I would need dependencies there so that when user chooses year, it loads available makes, when makes are chosen, then available models are loaded. Can this be done based on GD and CPT addon?

    3. Would other CPT (non-GD) work with GD, in case I find one with more functionality?

    4. How would I set pre-moderated, post-moderated feature for different types of users and even for post-moderated that if not moderated in xx hours, then approved?

    5. Non-classifieds question: do you have already some default categories that I can use as starting point for business directory?

    6. When I tried to enter for default location, the map gave me an error, when I entered Houston, TX, USA, map did not still work and it asked for longitude, latitude, then I googled those and entered. Is this normal? Did I have to register for Google api or something beforehand?

    7. Ad (banners) management: is there a feature for this or is it planned?

    1. “You can even create listings without a physical location with the CPT addon” is correct. I am not sure anymore of the context of the other reply without checking the questions in that topic.

    2. Not like that. A visitor can search by year and make and model, or year and model, or make etc, but not a progressive drill down as you describe. See more at https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/

    3. Normally yes. There might be some conflict, but not likely.

    4. Not sure I understand.
Moderation settings for comments are at WP Settings > Discussion.

    5. Yes, you can select “dummy data” at GD > General > Dummy Data tab. That will populated categories as well.

    6. Please review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#location

    7. You can use ad management plugins for that, there is no plan to build our own.

Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks
