I still get an error in console after adding the code provided by Stiofan:

correct code FYI was :

function my_gd_add_flex() {
  remove_action('wp_print_scripts', 'geodir_core_dequeue_script', 100);
   wp_dequeue_script('geodirectory-jquery-flexslider-js');
}
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'my_gd_add_flex',20 );

and we added itr via code snippets plugin.
