    Hi,
    My client would like to set key word search feature. When executing a keyword search, the client wants to be able to search for Places and Events by city (for example: Burnaby), and in addition to the existing search results, they will also receive Places and Events that do not specifically contain the keyword “Burnaby”, but are associated with the city of “Burnaby”.

    The following video illustrates a typical keyword search, as well as a 404 error if a keyword search is executed from a subdirectory.

    Hi,

    That is the regular wp search widget, not the GD search widget.

    Please provide a link and admin credentials and we will verify why this problem is occuring.

    Hello,

    I have fixed this by editing your child theme functions.php to add two lines of code around the search from code to remove the home filter for the url.
