Custom Fields Show/Don't Show Data

Hi,

Is there anyway that a subscriber can input a price into a custom field – in this case predefined field Price – and then choose not to display the inputted data.

I am trying to emulate another website that allows their subscribers to do precisely this – please see image attached.

In answer to the question why would a subscriber wish to do this? Because it allows them to use their listing to store data in the back-end that they don’t want to display in the front-end.
