Hello,
when i add a new place from the “add listing” page I have a problem with the preview. The first tab, with the place profile, is always blank. If i complete the registration, in the real place page the tab works fine. I write in the next post the data access to my website.

You can’t change a virtual page name, it will stop working.

You have to translate Add Listing using tranlsation files.

Your plugins are still out dated, once everything updated we will be able to check if the problem persist as we can’t recreate it in any of our demos.

I fixed the db and i tried to reload all the geodirectory plugin 1.3.9 via ftp but no change…

Hi,

there are still plenty of things to correct in the DB and I’d be much faster with a tool to perform search and replace like this: https://interconnectit.com/products/search-and-replace-for-wordpress-databases/

Basically there is still to change:

all country slug Italia to Italy in wp_geodir_post_locations, it would also be better to capitalize Lombardia in Region for all.

in wp_geodir_gd_place_detail change Italia to Italy in post_locations and post_country. It would also be better to capitalize Lombardia in post_region for all.

Finally in wp_geodir_countries delete Italia and keep Italy only.

This should fix most things. If you install that script or provide FTP, tomorrow I’ll finish, doing it manually is a pain that I would prefer to avoid.

Hi Msala,

I’ve finished fixing your db and now when I edit a listing it picks up the correct city/region/country.

However the preview page still doens’t show anything in the Profile tab.

I’ve asked Stiofan to have a second look to see if he could think of anything else and he said:

“there seems to be some heavy caching going on, can u ask him to disable or tell us how to and I will look into it further?”

I don’t see any caching plugin, what kind of server is that? Are you running varnish or any other server caching tools?

I’m using hostgator baby plan, could be this the problem?
I have not activated any caching system, and i can give you a full access of my cpanel.
