Running two Events plugins

Hi,
I’d like to have two “Events” plugins on my site. Geo Directory Events and Events Manager. My thinking is to have my “Partner” members able to add-listings to the Geo Directory and then my “regular” buddypress members can add simple events with Event’s manager.

When I run the two plugins at the same time, there seems to be an overlapping issue. And the Event’s page goes down. Even if I change all of the permalinks in Event’s manager from “Events” to “Calendar”, that helps but there are still issues. Similar to what happened with Geo My WP and Geo Directory which you guys where able to fix with a snippet.

Do you think this is a similar issue that could be resolved with a similar solution?
