Hi,
Can you help with my set up of login – I have added the login box widget to the page but it looks different from the sample on your website. Have I missed something obvious? I have tried it in shortcode and widget forms and still looks different.January 13, 2017 at 4:58 pm #342143Hi Kim,
That’s exactly how a login page looks like (login-2). Could you please share WP admin access and we’ll take a look at the GD setup? You can post the details here using the private reply option below.
Thanks!

Thanks for sharing the credentials. I’ve just fixed it for you by recreating the login page. It seems to work now, could you please check on it? Here’s a screenshot for your reference http://prntscr.com/dw8lud
Thanks!
January 16, 2017 at 10:25 am #343433thanks,
screenshot is perfect but when i check the login page on the backend it is blank and just leads me to my home page when I click “view page”. Can you point me in the right direction please?January 16, 2017 at 10:36 am #343448Hi Kim,
You can’t access to the login page when you’re already logged in. Could you try using the “Incognito” mode and see if it works? http://www.cunninglygoodbuild.com/gd-login
Thanks!
January 16, 2017 at 10:41 am #343450Of course, thanks very much it looks perfect. Now I’m off to work out how to get people to sign up and add listings. Wish me luck 🙂
January 16, 2017 at 10:44 am #343453Hi Kim,
Glad that helped. Well, enjoy GD and good luck!
Thanks!
January 16, 2017 at 11:44 am #343469Me again,
My goal is to set up a frontend login page where the customer can register to create an account and then login to add a listing for their business. When I set up a dummy account and logged in I get to the dashboard but there is no option there to add a listing.(all I can add is media). Can you show me where this will be det up. I tried using the shortcodes but the page just remained blank. Many thanks
KimJanuary 16, 2017 at 10:15 pm #343833Hi Kim
normally after logging in, you are redirected to the home page. The best thing to do for you would be to add a link to the add listing form. If anyone clicks on it and isn’t logged in he’ll be redirected to the login page and once logged in he’ll be redirected to the add listing form.
Please check this doc to see how to add the add listing link to your main menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation
Thanks
January 17, 2017 at 3:06 pm #344532Thanks I’ll try that – I assume i can’t be logged into the backend to see it working. I’ll have a go setting it up.
One more quick question please – I want to set up a default image for all the listings that we have bulk uploaded. The customers will then go in an add their own when they write up their listing. Cna you show me where I can do this? I have tried the following but it doesn’t change anything on the frontend.
Geodirectory – design – listing – upload listing no image.
Many thanks
KimJanuary 17, 2017 at 5:40 pm #344558You can add the default image via geodirectory >> design >> listing.
That will be visible only in the archives, while in the detail page nothing will appear.
You can also define a default image for each category if you prefer and you can do that via Places >> Place category.
Thanks

January 18, 2017 at 3:07 pm #345136Ignore my last request. I found the problem. I am using the Enfold theme and was inputting the shortcodes into the advanced page builder. All is well with the login page now.
Can I just ask though – can I add a title to the listing pages? eg here
http://www.cunninglygoodbuild.com/places/united-kingdom/perth-and-kinross/crieff/eat-drink-1/delivino/#post_profileAlso url is very long – can I amend this somewhere?
many thanks
