Events Expired move to trash

It appears to me that if you are to have a site that has hundreds or even thousand of events that are expiring monthly that the cost to monitor the expired events is too high.

I use a plugin, Ad rotate pro that will pull expired events, warn, and color code events near expiration. This is a great feature and would like to have on my two event sites.

I hope that someone in the developer community feels the same way.
