We are having an issue with the contents of a custom field meta box overlapping other content boxes. Basically, the contents are spilling out of the container. (See attached screenshot.) The custom meta field is part of the Fraction theme.
This is not a problem on a local install with the latest WP and Fraction theme. We’ve tested this on our staging server and disabled all plugins. The problem disappears when the GeoDirectory Core plugin is deactivated.
We just ran updates two days ago and are on 3.9, but it looks like you’ve updated the Core plugin again. This problem has persisted through several updates, so it’s not likely that the latest update will fix this issue.
WordPress 4.1.1
Fraction Theme 1.1.3

April 3, 2015 at 4:52 am #36045Hi Paulo,
It’s been over a week since you last communication. What’s the status?
Thanks!
April 3, 2015 at 8:27 am #36057This has been fixed and will be in the next release.
I tried updating the file with the fix on your site but it seems there was a new function added so it broke it.You can update from here https://github.com/GeoDirectory/geodirectory
Or if you pass FTP i will update for you.
Thanks,
Stiofan
April 3, 2015 at 5:29 pm #36097So, can we just wait for the next release? If so, when do you think that will be out?
April 3, 2015 at 6:06 pm #36109We are pushing hard to do it today…
Thanks for your patience,
July 27, 2015 at 12:57 am #47020Lately i have been having the same problem with the editor area behaving as if its disabled. I can no longer access the content of my listed places (appears as blank but when i select i actually am able to see the content but it included embedded html code, which tells me perhaps the Text mode of the editor is active and it does not allow me to revert to the visual mode). I cannot also add featured images anymore or any image at all and the place, category and other fields below the main content are no longer working. I have disabled all plugins – even reinstalled my core wordpress without much success. Please help because i need to begin using this plugin. the installation can be found at http://www.enchantedlandscapes.com/places
July 27, 2015 at 9:49 pm #47133Hi,
that sound like a jQuery error probably cause by another plugin. Please disable all non GD plugins to test if that is the case. If the problem is solved, than activate the plugin one by one while testing to see which one is the culprit.
If that’s not the problem please provide wp admin credentials in a private reply and we will have a look.
Thanks

if you check console on developer tools of your browser you will see that you ahve 2 errors on any edit lsiting page. One is a 500 server error, the other is a jQuery error from the theme.
have you tried disabling all non GD plugins?
If yes, what was the result?
I see that you have almost 30 active plugins and one is dealing with maps too, which is very likely to cause issues.
I also see that your website is live (reason why I’m not going to deactivate anything), I’d suggest to do this kind of testing on a staging server.
Let us know,
Thanks
