Can I add Fields To Import Data? If so what format and how/where do I edit to ensure the new data shows up in the individual Directory Listing?

    Hi Gorj,

I’m not really sure what you’re trying to do but you can try creating the custom fields on GD first then export the listing and you should see the custom field columns in the csv.

    Hi,

1st you need to create the custom fields from GeoDirectory >> Place settings, for example.

Then add the new field in your CSV file with the html variable prefixed with geodir_ as new heading. So if your new custom field has the html variable myfield, the new heading to add in the CSV file will be geodir_myfield.

The easiest way to handle this is to create a listing with the new custom field from the back end Add Place form, then export the CSV file that will include the new field.

    Thanks
