Import Problem

    Hi,

    I just tried using the plugin for testing but came into with a problem with importing categories and listing.

    What I did was download the sample CSV and directly imported it directly but I get an error?

    “The uploaded file is not a valid csv file. Please try again.”

    Someone can help me with this?

    This is a bug in WordPress version 4.7.1. Please install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-real-mime-check/ as a temporary fix. More info here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/import-issue/#post-341940

    Hi again!

    The plugin worked for the categories. But when I tried to import the listing I get this error.

    Total 3 item(s) found.
    3 / 3 item(s) could not be added due to blank/invalid address(city, region, country, latitude, longitude).

    Still the same I used the sample CSV. Any ideas what caused this?

    Hi,

    I just tested it and it worked fine.

    What you probably missed to do is to change the address fields (address/city/region/country/lat/lon) of the sample listings.

    Having only the free plugin installed, you can submit listings in your default city only.

    The second things you could have missed is change the categories with categories that you have on your system.
