Recurring Events box not opening

I have just installed this plugin – bought the pro set with all the add-ins – my problem is that 1) the recurring events area is not opening up – it’s a long horizontal line when you click it with nothing showing and the select times of events is showing long skinny vertical drop downs with only on or two letters in each one – it’s a struggle. Help and thanks!
