Filtering Behavior, Need to Deactivate

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    As it stands if a user on our site goes to, say, a search for all restaurants in our available region, clicks a restaurant, and then performs another search for restaurants (from our nav menu) they will receive a search limited to the same city as the restaurant they’d just viewed.

    How do we disable this behavior?
