Dropdown Menu Questions

    I’m exploring the different options with dropdown menus. My goal is to have a categories dropdown menu in a place other than the search bar. I have three questions:

    1. How do I turn a custom menu into a dropdown menu?

    2. When I use the regular categories widget, the only dropdown option says “uncategorized.” How do I get my categories in this widget?

    3. Is there any way to make the CPT widget a dropdown menu?

    1. You can add relevant links to the main menu, if that is where you want them. Menus are theme specific, or you can look for some extra plugins that do menus like https://wordpress.org/plugins/menubar/

    2. That is a WP widget, you cannot get GD categories in there. That is for WP post categories.

    3. Not without a customization which is outside support.
