I’m trying to install GeoDirectory and getting the following error after installation:

GeoDirectory does not have access to your filesystem, thing like import/export will not work. Please define your details in wp-config.php as explained here http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#WordPress_Upgrade_Constants

I’ve worked through the guidance in this document to no avail:

    https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/geodirectory-does-not-have-access-to-your-filesystem/

    Any suggestions?

    Hi Bob,

Please provide FTP access and we’ll check on the server files.

    Thanks!

Our developers will only have time to work on it when they come back online in about 12 hours. Please keep the credentials valid until they’ll let you know it’s done.

    Thanks

The wp-admin details don’t seem to work anymore so i can’t test this, can you provide correct details.

    Thanks,

Thanks, i though the first info was suposed to be wp-admin, i am in to wp-admin now but the FTP login seems to take me to a blak folder, i think you need to change the root of the FTP user to the public_html. Or if you supply cpanel details i will be able to check from there.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan

This is a WP problem you have not a GD problem, its just we run a check for it as our plugin needs access for import/export but things like plugin updates or anything that uses the file system will fail.. We are just trying to help you.

    Thanks,

    Stiofan
