    Hi i have this site http://217.199.187.194/heartofargyll.com/

    I am now thinking of using geodirectory to show all the listings

    I want to keep the front page as is then set up the listings on the other pages

    what would be the best set up to get the best seo results ?

    I’d like to just add the code to the pages rather than make pages from the categories as it gives me more design control

    can you do that ? if so what would be the code to add to a page for something like this http://www.stayscotland.scot/places/hotels-with-live-music/

    cheers

    Hi,

    you can’t do that, you have to use the GD pages.

    SEO wise the GD structure has been designed to be efficient, no need to change it.

    Thanks

    I had put this together thinking I could combine GEO with the theme just the map and place copy missing

    so is this pointless ?

    cheers scott

    Yes that’s pretty much pointless, you’re much better off using the GD pages.

    Thanks

    I cannot figure it out, something is hiding the links to the categories, they are there, but just not showing up. Hopefully Paolo can figure it out. Thanks

    Hi Stiofan thanks its working a treat going to look great

    theres just one thing which I think someone else is looking at and that is that I can’t change the backgrounds on the category pages like this http://217.199.187.194/heartofargyll.com/places/history/museums-1/

    but i was able to do it before here http://www.stayscotland.scot/places/hotels-with-live-music/

    cheers

    This CSS rule is what is blocking it

    .fusion-bottom-frame, .fusion-boxed-shadow, .fusion-sides-frame, .fusion-top-frame {
        position: fixed;
        z-index: 99996;
    }

    I guess its part of the theme, maybe a setting.
