    hi there if you look on here http://217.199.187.194/heartofargyll.com/

    you will see the layout of the [gd_cpt_categories] is not very good as the ‘what to do’ ones are way down the page

    how can this be aligned better ?

    thanks

    scott

    Try adding this CSS:

    .gd-cptcat-ul.gd-cptcat-parent.gd-cpt-flat {
        display: inherit;
    }

    Thanks

    thats great is there any way of making the ‘what to do’ list half the size and go into two rows ?

    and can the same be done for these categories http://217.199.187.194/heartofargyll.com/places/history/

    can they be in the same order as [gd_cpt_categories] ?

    thanks

    You can add this CSS to make sure the categories in the popular category widget do not line-break:

    .geodir-cat-list ul li {min-width: 220px;}

    They are ordered by “popularity”, categories with most listings come first.

    Not sure how you are adding the CPT widget to the homepage, but review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-shortcodes/#ctp-cats
    You could add this CSS:

    .gd-cptcat-row .gd-cptcat-li {
        max-height: 150px;
        overflow: hidden;
    }

    Also review https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/customizing-your-style/
    Small CSS tweaks are not that hard, and are not part of support.

    I have no idea where you are adding the CSS but if I add it to GD > Design > Scripts > CSS, it works for me.

    looks better but half the ‘what to do’ categories are missing now

    That would require quite a bit more customization which is outside support. Thanks
