Maximum number of categories for a listing

Hi,

What is the optimum/maximum number of categories for a listing?

Prices & Payments seems to suggest an unlimited number of categories can be set for each listing – is this correct?

Is Google Maps performance negatively effected by using many categories/map pins?

Hi,

there is no optimum/maximum number of categories for a listing, in my opinion the simpler the better, so if you have a limited, non confusing number of categories, it’s better, but that’s just my opinion.

The map performance is mainly affected by the total number of pins to be loaded and only partially by the number of categories used.
