search bringing up wrong places

    hi there i’m still not happy with the search results so thinking of removing the option

    heres another example if i put in one of the categories Walking & Climbing i get a yacht chandlery and 4 other places that have nothing to do with Walking & Climbing infact i only get one of the 17 places there could be

    All listings returned have “&” in the title, and that is one of the keywords you searched for …

    Hi when I put in the search the category waking and climbing showed below and I klicked on that which I thought would have shown its places

    & in categories and searches can do funny things, i try to avoid & in cat names, in html they are stored as ampersands which might not match exactly when searching.

    Do you know you can add a category select to the main search bar?

    Install advanced search addon, then GD>Place settings>Advanced search>
    Add the category to the search and tick “show in main search bar”
