Hi! I just watched a friend with an Android phone use my GD site. Unlike my iOS experience, her browser includes a full-screen button near the top right (under “satellite”) *in addition to* the GD-driven full-screen button near the top left. It looks like a Google thing.
The behavior of this Google-full-screen is fine but the location of the button is problematic. It has a very annoying tendency to locate directly atop the “close”-X of a GD balloon. When this happens (as it did immediately to my friend) then it really looks impossible to get the balloon to go away. Only with real persistence or pre-existing familiarity with GD could a user figure out that there is a hidden “X” that will become available after dragging the map to move the balloon out from under the Google full-screen button.
I have attached a photo showing the Google full-screen button, right under “satellite”.
Is there any way we can help Android users to never encounter this problem of a balloon that is seemingly un-deletable?
thank you
