I am using Yoast (wordpress Seo) to generate sitemaps which it has done.
https://poi-australia.com.au/index.php?sitemap=1
I noticed issues a few weeks ago and as this (pretty url) didn’t work: https://poi-australia.com.au/sitemap_index.xml My host as since put a redirect on to trick it into working but i have now discovered all sitemaps containing gd_location don’t seem to work either…
Examples:
https://poi-australia.com.au/gd_location_full-sitemap2.xmlhttps://poi-australia.com.au/gd_things_to_do_tags_location_country-sitemap.xml
If you wait long enough it will eventually return a ERR_SPDY_PROTOCOL_ERROR… Do you mind taking a look a seeing what might be the problem??
Thank you

==You may have to reach out to your developer to enable extended debugging to allow you to find the exact cause as everything on the server seems working fine. PHP script has a generous enough time out to allow any lagging queries or backend process to complete but XML generation is taking longer than that. I would request you to disable caching temporarily when you have your developer audit the script to ensure remnants of cache are not causing any issues.
Is this looping request normal behavior??
Thanks

May 29, 2017 at 5:22 pm #380648Hi,
please provide FTP credentials too. The developers have been alerted.
Thanks
May 30, 2017 at 7:10 am #380725Hi Silks,
With the admin credentials you provided i can’t access wp-admin area. It redirects me to front end. Let us provide backend access.
I checked sitemap and after long wait it shows me
Request Timeout
This request takes too long to process, it is timed out by the server. If it should not be timed out, please contact administrator of this web site to increase ‘Connection Timeout’.”Your sitemap index page does not have links for locations sitemaps. So we nee FTP details to look into more.
Thanks,

KiranJune 1, 2017 at 4:16 am #381068Thanks so much Kiran!
Look forward category and tag in location fixes
June 3, 2017 at 6:45 am #381441Any Progress on this??
You can see while parts of the sitemap aren’t working then the base sitemap doesn’t load…
https://poi-australia.com.au/sitemap_index.xmlI would be amazing if we could get these back online asap so i can resubmit them to google search console
Thanks
