problem with distance limit

Hello, i have 2 problems .
my website is http://www.doctorinsanatate.ro
First one. Even if i set distance limit for 10 miles… when i search for example for ”medicina dentara ” near ploiesti … it returns all listing.. even if they are at 350 km from this city.

second one . I installed another plugin called wp adverts where users can submit their products and other thing. and another plugin for buddypress where users can submit their articles,
Well, lets say i leave search form blank . if i press button ”search”, it returns everything back. geodirectory places, wp advers , and even articles that are written on my site
