PayFast test payment

I am having issues making PayFast (test) payments:
- WordPress 4.8 running Supreme Directory theme.
- Payments V2.0.2. plugin
- PayFast Payment V1.0.0
I have the Payfast payment option and PayFast test mode enabled.
In the checkout section of the website, I see an error that states “NO payment gateway configured”; and on PayFast gateway, I am alerted that:
- The merchant key is invalid
- After clicking “Cancel”, there is no return URL configured
I have checked both these settings (PayFast account and Invoicing admin side) and the values are correct – I did not change the ITN URL, as per plugin instruction.
On which side is the error?
Is it a problem that I am using the test gateway?
Furthermore (might be a topic for a different ticket) the payments plugin states that PayPal is the only recurring payment option – this is not possible via standard integration (in my country, to the best of my knowledge) … however, PayFast offers recurring payments too; has the documentation/plugin messaging not been updated yet or is there really no way of accepting recurring payments via PayFast?
WooCommerce does a very simple and nice business integration for accepting PayPal payments (including credit card) – the GD Payments integration seems rather manual/cumbersome by comparison.
Please advise/assist.

Please also explain this with a bit more details/examples:

Sorry for the inconvenience, currently we have not added support for recurring billing in PayFast Payment gateway.
Checkout page shows “NO payment gateway configured”, because if you are going to pay for recurring payment invoice then it only shows gateways that supports recurring payment.FYI: we have plan in future to add supports for recurring billing in PayFast Payment gateway.

– the recurring payment option was still selected on the package in question … even though I disabled that … may have been cache.

Try to re-save the invoice.Just let us know if you find any issue.

I did just that – the settings in Prices & Payments did indeed default to recurring (even after I saved it without the box checked), but it’s fine now.
