Hi,

It’s just been pointed out to me that there might be problems when a user tries to edit their profile.

For instance – when I go to my own profile, I just get the option to ‘View my Account’ (att one) and from there, the option to either logout, or view my listings (att two and three).

What do I click on if I wanted to edit my profile and/or amend my password from the front end as a user?

Hi,

GeoDirectory doesn’t handle user profile editing.

You’ll need to install an extra plugin for that. We created UsersWP for example and the GD integration is included for GeoDirectory members.

An alternatives is BuddyPress.

Well I don’t want to go down the road of using a sledgehammer to open a walnut (buddypress) so it’s looking like UsersWP is the main option.

So how do I use UsersWP to access the front end to edit and amend user’s profiles?
