    Hi!

With the new Payment add-on and the Invoice manager, I try to add in the admin zone places manually (and manually attribute it after to another user). I see, even if a package is selected, no invoice created.

In the invoice section, we add new one. But the Geo package price item don’t seem to be available for new invoice. (Only create item).

    Hi Dany,

Several of your plugins are out of date, please update them and check.

You can’t manually select a GD item when creating an invoice, this is created only when a user adds a listing from the frontend.

    Everything up to date.
If I understand, if we can’t add manually GD-Item when creating an invoice, so we can’t help a user to post without using it’s own credentials, no? Or maybe can we add the post as admin, select the package, let the user be the author and let the post expired, having the user to reactivate the package and create the invoice?
(The goal is to let some places admin created to begin the directory, and let the users take further their post).

If i understand you correctly you can do it like this:
    1. create the place as admin, and gie it a “free” price package.
    2. Enable claim listings and require them to upgrade to claim, this way they will have to pay to be able to edit the post and become owner.

So, could it be possible to have price package for admin use only (eventually?) if I don’t want random user take the free package?

It is not possible at the moment but if you explain fully what you are trying to do i will give you the best advice.

    Thanks,

You wrote earlier : 1. create the place as admin, and gie it a “free” price package.
How to do this without let random user take the free package (but admin only?) or can I do something else?
I want to let user claim admin created places with the claim add-on. We have no free package. They must pay something. But admin should be able to add places freely until they get claimed. If it’s not possible now, a possible developpment?

You could make the package $1,000,000 and then just hide it from the frontend selection with CSS, if anyone finds it by inspecting the code they wont want to pay the price anyway 🙂
