How do I remove the wordpress log in that is visible on the front end? There is no need for it and it is disrupting the layout of the site, forcing images downward.

Without seeing your site, all I can suggest is that you have some login widget somewhere added at Appearance > Widgets.
Remove that if you do not want any users to log in.
