Sort listings with buddypress addon

    Hi Guys

    Thank you for adding the GD+buddypress addon, it works great!

    I would like to have the opportunity to sort each of my CPT, and I therefore added sorting options under each CPT. It was already added under one CPT and I added it on the rest also. For some reason it seems to only work on the one CPT which already had the sorting option added. When I go to “my account” the sorting option only appear on the one which had the sorting option before I installed the buddypress addon. Does it need some time to update or could it be a bug?

    Here is a link to my user profile http://openmindtrips.com/members/admincool/listings/ and as you can see the sorting option only appears on the first CPT.

    I also wanted to know if a user can arrange each CPT to show the listings in in a custom made order? I was thinking a drag and drop maybe?

    Hi,

    sorting seems to be active for CPT Retreats only:

    http://openmindtrips.com/retreats/ -> sorting enabled

    http://openmindtrips.com/shamans/ -> sorting disabled

    Thank you – yes I would love to showcase it, I will submit it in the link you’ve sent. 🙂

    I actually just enabled each CPT before writing you, but it seems like my changes has not been saved. I just tried enabling them again and also adding one more sorting type (add date) to http://openmindtrips.com/retreats/ but it is not saving my changes there either.

    That’s strange, are all addons up to date?

    I’ve just tested in our demo and it seems like you found a bug, where adding the new sorting option doesn’t automatically open the new widget and if you don’t set it up and save it, it doesn’t get added.

    I’ve already alerted Stiofan for that, but it shouldn’t prevent you from adding anything.

    Let us know for the credentials and I’ll have a look at your website.

    Okay, I managed to add them now – was not aware that I needed to choose ascending/descending+title and save. It works now – thank you.

    Is there a way for users to chose a customized order with e.g. drag and drop? Some users would like to show their listings in a specific order in the “my account” section (buddypress+GD). Or would I need to have that customized and ask this in the job forum? 🙂
